BENEFITING: The Breast Cancer Research Foundation
EVENT DATE: Oct 06, 2013
I'm sick of my sister, Natasha, getting so much attention. I mean, we get it, Tash, you have breast cancer and chemo is SOOO hard and you are SOOO tired all the time. Whine whine whine complain complain complain. Why don't you get up and do something about it, Tash? Go run a marathon or buy some pink ribbons or something...
What's that? You will if I will? Deal.
My sister is being very brave by relaxing at home and coming up with excuses like "radiation sickness" and "having to take care of her three kids" while I train rigourously to run a marathon for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Our goal is to raise awareness and earn enough money to fund one day of research - $1200 dollars. To gain publicity towards this A+ rated organization, I will be pushing Tasha and her overly-decorated wheelchair a full 26.2 miles in the Portland Marathon in Portland, Oregon on the 6th of October. Please help us reach our goal, 100% of which will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
