Students Against Slavery
27 Hours is an annual event, sponsored by Students Against Slavery, during which members of the Connecticut College campus community will stand in solidarity against human trafficking and the reality that there are over 27 million enslaved peoples worldwide. Individuals can stand for one hour, five hours, or the full 27 hours. This is primarily an awareness event, and we hope this year to raise the issue of human trafficking/modern day slavery in a way that involves as much of the campus as possible. Everyone is encouraged to participate by joining members who will be standing in Cro, Harris, and various classes.
