Thanks so much!

It's hard to believe Isabella would be turning 5 on May 23rd. Upon being told she had Trisomy 13, I was introduced to an amazing team of doctors, nurses, and social workers at GBMC that supported me throughout my pregnancy. During labor, I was told Isabella would be born still, but she proved the doctors wrong and was a strong baby. She had a bath, a Baptism, and lots of love in the short time we had with her. Isabella died on May 24th in my arms, surrounded by her father, sister, aunt and grandparents.
GBMC's 28th annual Father's Day 5K benefits the NICU and the approximately 400 babies, like Isabella, that are treated there each year. With 12 rooms in the NICU, there is always equipment that needs updating, new technologies to incorporate and resources critical for these more fragile babies, who require 24/7 care. Your support can help us provide these resources.
Please consider donating to the GBMC NICU. Thank you!
