EVENT DATE: Apr 30, 2016
Last Spring, the Texas Cowboys raised $15,000 for Rosedale Elementary to fund the creation of a Multisensory Interactive Learning Environment (M.I.L.E), otherwise known as a Sensory Room. This coming April, we are getting together again to play golf in support of the Rosedale school. We hope to raise even more funds to support the incredible teachers, staff, and students at Rosedale.
Rosedale is a one of a kind campus within the Austin Independent School District and there are only a handful of campuses like it in the United States. It serves both students who have been determined to be medically fragile because of their complex medical needs, as well as students with various emotional behavioral needs related to their disability. There are no general education students at Rosedale and as such it is a very small campus with a high staff to student ratio.
