BENEFITING: Ronald McDonald House of Ann Arbor
This is a fundraiser to support the Ronald McDonald Houses of Ann Arbor. Since opening next to the C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in 1985, over 17,000 families of seriously ill or injured children have made use of these facilities. In 2011, a second house was opened on the pediatric intensive care floor of the hospital. It is the mission of the RMH to help families stay together when they need each other most.
In 2012, our son Elliott spent 3 weeks at Mott after being admitted in severe respiratory distress. In honor of Elliott and the excellent care he received, we are hosting the 2nd Annual Elliott Deedler Ronald McDonald House Fundraiser. While Elliott was in the hospital, Adam and I were lucky enough to stay at RMH and have been working to help the organization ever since.
