I have rejoined the Modo community from a long vacation with a 30 day challange. I was overjoyed to find we could do some good whilst downward dogging : )
The West Village studio, with the other Modo studios across the world are fundraising for Junglekeepers. Junglekeepers' mission is aimed to employ preventive and sustainable solutions to protect an untouched parts of the amazon: The Las Piedras river. The rapid rate of deforestation due to roads and agriculture is threatening the diversity of life along this river.
If you can find the time or the extra funds, help me continue to protect this pristine river basin, that is being threatened by illegal logging and farming rand poaching.
Through past donations, yogis were able to support Junglekeepers by purchasing the rights of 2,130 acres of beautiful rainforest along the Las Piedras river. They also implemented a ranger program to help protect the land in collaboration with other non-profit organizations and the local community. Their vision is to protect more land further upriver, close to uncontacted tribes. Please join us and let’s create an amazing and transformational impact!
