Project Purple's mission: to beat pancreatic cancer.
I want to help Project Purple reach this goal because if we can beat pancreatic cancer I know we will have left a better society for future generations: one that does not have to endure the tragic losses this disease causes. Please join me in donating whatever you can.
Over 50,000 Americans are diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer annually. Over 40,000 die, with a 26% survival rate in the first year, and only 6% are expected to live 5 years.
In the last four years, our charity has provided $500,000 in grants to top medical centers specializing in the study of pancreatic cancer. We have carefully selected institutions based on the quality of their work and their researchers. Grants have also been awarded to postdoctoral students and professional researchers, to support studies in early detection methods, a cure, and a better understanding of the mysterious and deadly disease.
