On April 25, life in Nepal changed drastically. My homeland was damaged by the 7.8 earthquake and all the subsequent and ongoing aftershocks continue to rattle not only the buildings and hills, but the people’s soul and spirit as well. Collectively, the Nepali people are scared and broken… and with the monsoon season coming in June there is a frantic rush by everyone to get proper shelter before that. And, not to mention that so many millions of people lost everything they have including food, clothing, medicine and loved ones. I’ve set out to do everything that I possibly can do to improve the current situation and will continue to build schools in communities where education has been taken away by the earth’s shaking.
