I am honored once again to be part of the Project Purple team, running in the Lincoln Marathon.
This is my 3rd year and I am very excited to run and spread the word about Pancreatic cancer. Did you know Pancreatic cancer is now the 3rd leading amongst cancers.
I will be running in memory of Frank Urban. Frank was father to a high school baseball teammate and friend. He was a kind, friendly and energetic individual, who always had time to stop and conversate no matter what he was doing.
I also will be running for Keith Schaffer, a dedicated and hard working U.P.S driver. He was in great shape, a fellow runner who loved to talk sports. Both men were hard working and great positive individuals.
My goal is to raise 500.00 and to help raise awareness of Pancreatic cancer. Even the smallest donations help more than you know.
