The 49th Gold Country Scout Group strongly emphasizes the importance of our connection with the natural world. All of our scouting is done out of doors. The Yuba River is a precious natural resource not only to sweaty scouts looking for a cool respite after a hike, but to the animals, plants and ecosystems that it supports. We bring trash bags every time we visit the Yuba trails or swimming holes, but on September 16th we will participate in South Yuba River Citizens League's Great American River Cleanup. Please support their cause and help our scouts maintain this precious natural resource.
