Friends, this weekend we will be running/walking the Race for Respect for Down Syndrome Awareness month. We will take to the roads in honor of our amazingly awesome Hope, who has brought crazy, unheard of amounts of happiness to my entire family, her friends and teachers at school, neighbors, cafeteria workers, grocery store goers, and most recently the doctors and nurses of Johns Hopkins Hospital who have helped her and her family as she kicks the ass of Leukemia. Get out there and walk or run tomorrow on her behalf. If you can't, check out her page and consider donating. Tomorrow cheer 4Hope and all those sons, daughters, family members, friends, classmates, and many other individuals with Down Syndrome who live, work, go to school, and touch the lives of everyone they meet in your community.
Hope has faced many challenges in her first 3 years -- her most recent being her leukemia diagnosis. But its been the love and support of family and friends that have buoyed the Katz-Zogbys through it all. Run for Hope!!
