Since 1992, the Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation has dedicated itself to scholarship, leadership development, and philanthropy. Our philanthropic focus is children's play therapy, which helps chronically ill children in hospitals to better understand their treatments, develop socially, and most importantly, have a dedicated space to play and have fun in an otherwise stressful and scary environment. To date, the Foundation has donated over $3 million to support children's play therapy programs across the nation and has helped fund play therapy wings in hospitals in North Carolina, Texas, and Colorado. The Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation and March of Dimes share a common history and common mission to ensure children have a fighting chance in their futures. The Robbie Page Memorial Fund became our first national philanthropy in 1954. Then Tri Sigma welcomed March of Dimes as a philanthropic partner at the 2016 Convention. Knowing that children’s health is a priority to our members, Sigma Serves Children expanded its reach. This year, the Alpha Delta chapter at Drexel University will be hosting our fourth annual Quest for the Best to raise money for the Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation. This Amazing Race style scavenger hunt across Drexel's campus tests competitors mentally and physically, and has helped our chapter raise over $16,000 for the Foundation so far! This year our fundraising goal is $6,000. Your generous donations will help support the Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation, thereby helping sick children across the country reclaim their childhood, one treatment at a time.
