It is with great pleasure that I invite you to support SOUL via our 4th Annual SOUL Corporate Basketball Challenge Crowdrise page.
Through this campaign we hope to raise $150,000 to provide the resources needed to empower 100 low-income DC youth in 2017. SOUL is a sports-based youth development program that was established in 2013. We collaborate with DC Public Schools, community based organizations, companies, universities and other educational centers to create and implement educational opportunities that engage low-income student-athletes. We offer four youth development programs; College Access Study Hall, Graduate with a plan, Sister Circle, and our Summer STEAM Institute.
By supporting this campaign, you help advance our mission to educate and empower low-income student-athletes to break the cycle of poverty, using athletics as a catalyst for social change. We invest a variety of resources into the academic, athletic, and professional development of our youth. In fact, during the 2015-2016 academic year we engaged over 233 low-income DC youth, supported two schools, four varsity sports teams, contributed to six high school athletic championships, and helped produce two high school valedictorians.
Please support our cause,
