BENEFITING: Children's Advocacy Center--Hope House
ORGANIZER: Children's Advocacy Center--Hope House
The 500 are here! Please join me as one of them!
Hope House (a 501(c)3 non-profit) is funded solely by grants and donations from individuals like you and provides all of its services at no cost. Join the dynamic team of women from St. Tammany & Washington Parishes who are raising at least $100 each for Hope House. The mission of Hope House is to end the cycle of child abuse in our communities and to provide a path to recovery and a bridge to justice for child victims of abuse.
As a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for more than ten years, I can personally attest to the necessesity of having the video tapes and confessions of these precious children in order for them to receive justice. Hope House is a good thing... Thanks! Missie Noel
I'm asking everyone just to donate $5 to my team. (more, if you like - but really, it's quick and easy....please help!
Individuals can join the team until 5pm on March 23rd!
What about men?
We never want to leave anyone out, so men can join the 500 by raising money in honor of the special females in their lives…daughters, wives, mothers, sisters!
How long does the fundraiser last?
The fundraiser begins March 1 and ends on March 23rd at 5pm. Once the fundraiser officially begins on March 1st, there will be surprises and prizes every day. The fundraiser finish-line party will be held on March 23rd from 5-7pm at Hope House in Covington.
If 500 women raise $100 each, we will raise $50,000 for Hope House!
What will Hope House do with $50,000? Hope House will be able to continue providing forensic interviews for children suspected of being abused as well as free counseling for these children and their non-offending caregivers. Hope House will also be able to continue offering no-cost child sexual abuse prevention training for businesses, schools, and other child-serving organizations in St. Tammany and Washington Parishes.
With your help, Hope House can continue its mission of ending child abuse and supporting children as they continue their journeys toward healing and wholeness. For more information about Hope House, please see the website www.cachopehouse.org
