BENEFITING: WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT
Our family has always been connected to the military, whether it was my mother's 15 years of teaching middle school at McGuire Air Force Base, my Uncle's continuing service as a Colonel in the U.S. Marine Reserves, close friends who live on base and dedicate their lives to protecting ours, or our elders who have already given everything they have to ensure our freedoms. Our hearts go out to every wounded soldier and every life lost and celebrate with every successful mission where liberty is fought for and lives are spared.
Therefore, we have decided to dedicate our efforts to raising money and awareness with the Wounded Warrior Project for those soldiers who return home wounded. With the goal being to aid in the effort to foster a successful and well-adjusted transition for those injured in the line of duty.
My Father and I are running 50 marathons in 50 states to spread the word, and will individually match the entry fee for each race and donate that amount to the Wounded Warrior Project. It is our hope that as we run through each state, we can spread awareness across the nation.
Thank you, and God Bless.
