BENEFITING: RACHEL LONGSTREET FOUNDATION INC
I am donating my 50th birthday to support two of my favorite charities, The Rachel Longstreet Foundation, which hosts the Jessye Norman School of the Arts and the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund. There is so much that isn't right in the world, but supporting children in their pursuit of education is so right and good. And you should make a contribution to this fundraiser, because it's my birthday!
The Jessye Norman School of the Arts, through the transformative power of professional arts education, helps students to become creative, caring and responsible citizens. The Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund, established by some of my West Point classmates to honor our classmate, Col. John M. McHugh, gives back through education by providing financial support to spouses and children of veterans to help them further their education. Johnny Mac was killed in action in Kabul, Afghanistan on May 18, 2010. He is remembered as a decorated 24 year veteran, husband, father, and friend.
Donations go directly to the charity. Donate here for The Rachel Longstreet Foundation/The Jessye Norman School of the Arts and go here, www.crowdrise.com/TeamMcHughforJohnnyMacSoldiersFund to donate to the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund.
I hope to raise a ton of money for these organizations. No matter what amount I raise through this effort, it will help. This is my gift of charity to celebrate my birthday. You do want to help me celebrate, don't you? Be generous!
Do for one what you wish you could do for all. --Andy Stanley.
