RUCK To Remember
A Mission of Remembrance – Civilians, Veterans - Family of the fallen come from all over the country and descend into our Nation’s Capital at the start of Memorial Day Weekend - The team is bussed out to Harpers Ferry to start their mission of remembrance - trekking 60 miles from Harpers Ferry, West Virginia over rugged terrain and down into Washington DC in the early hours of Memorial Day morning – for a sunrise "FINAL MISSION" over Memorial Bridge into Arlington National Cemetery (section 60). The 60 to 60 is not just an event – it’s a Mission to Honor our fallen and Empower those they came home wearing the wounds of war - while raising awareness and highlighting the strength & commitment of our war-fighters while uniting the Country with our mission to HONOR - EMPOWER & NEVER FORGET the sacrifices made in the defense of our Freedoms while always remembering those that paid the ultimate sacrifice and to raise awareness to those that continue to endure the sacrifices of battle. In the 5th Annual Ruck to Remember - 60 to 60 is excited to partner again with Veteran Empowering Charity - OPERATION ENDURING WARRIOR (OEW).
