Help the Friends of the Great Green Macaw (doing business as The Rainforest Biodiversity Group) raise money to support our conservation work, including our Small Grant Program, by participating in our annual Bird-a-Thon!
You can help the Rainforest Biodiversity Group meet our $5,000 goal in one of two ways:
- Make a donation – just hit the Donate button on this page. Donations of $50 or more will get a Bird-a-Thon t-shirt! Be sure to provide your t-shirt size and shipping address in the “Comment, In Memory, Tribute (Optional): ” box on the Donation Page.
- Participate as a birder on May 10th and raise money for the effort - click on "Fundraise for this Event" to set up your page.
Prizes for Birders:
The birder who raises the most money for the organization will receive a $250 Visa gift card!
Collecting Donations - It will be up to you as the birder to collect your donations, either by credit card via your secure Crowdrise fundraising page, or through cash or check in person. If you collect cash or checks, please be sure to enter these totals into your Crowdrise webpage, so they may be added to your overall total and put you closer to winning the big prize! Please let your donors know that if they donate more than $50, they are eligible to receive a Bird-a-Thon t-shirt, but they must give you their t-shirt size and address if shipping is necessary. This information should be collected at the time they make their donation, either on their check, or in the “Comment, In Memory, Tribute (Optional): ” box on the Donation Page.
Thank you for helping raise money to support the conservation projects of Friends of the Great Green Macaw (dba. Rainforest Biodiversity Group)! All contributions are tax-deductible, since we are a 501(c)3, and a tax receipt will be generated for them.
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any further questions.
