Run for Global Justice
On Sunday, March 20th AJWS's Half Marathon Team take part in one of NYC's most inspiring races: the 2016 United Arlines NYC Half. They will undergo a journey that will test their limits physically and mentally. Through tireless training and dedication, our team will raise more than $7,500 for AJWS’s work in the developing world. We hope you’ll cheer on Team AJWS as they take on the city and race to the finish line to build a more just and equitable world!
Inspired by the Jewish commitment to justice, American Jewish World Service (AJWS) works to realize human rights and end poverty in the developing world. AJWS advances the rights of women, girls and LGBTI people; promotes recovery from conflict, disasters and oppression; and defends access to food, land and livelihoods. AJWS pursues lasting change by supporting local leaders who advance social justice and global human rights organizations in Africa, Asia and the Americas and by mobilizing supporters in the U.S. to advocate for global justice. Working together, the AJWS community strives to build a more just and equitable world.
By supporting our team's efforts, you help AJWS secure basic human rights that are the roots of poverty and injustice in the developing world.
