Adam's Tree House
Adam’s Tree House
Fully Accessible; Totally Awesome!
Southern District YMCA is partnering with the Adam McPhee Memorial Foundation, raising funds for an all-accessbile tree house at Camp Lincoln, and making sure that all children can reach the top. This tree house is a beautiful tribute to Adam McPhee, the first to graduate from Epping High School with a special inclusion program. Adam’s Tree House will show children that they can push themselves to achieve new heights, even those nestled in the treetops.
Your gift will give people with disabilities access to the outdoors, connecting them to community and to life-enriching relationships and activities. Mark Cadman, Camp Director at Camp Lincoln, says, “This tree house will certainly find its way into camp programs as soon as it’s complete, and we’re extremely excited to reach more campers within our community in such a creative way.” We hope to raise the entire $50,000 construction cost of the tree house, and we need your help.
Supporting Adam’s Tree House directly reflects YMCA Camp Lincoln’s mission. This sense of inclusion has been a part of YMCA Camp Lincoln for over 90 years, fostering a community where kids can focus on being kids: running, jumping, or climbing. Children are encouraged to reach new heights, to learn new skills, and to discover their best self.
Without community support, these incredible heights could not be reached. For more information about Southern District YMCA, please visit http://www.sdymca.org or phone Rhonda at 603 319 5934.
