Ever since I was a little girl I admired my great grandmother. I would sit by her and just listen to her stories and what she had to overcome through out her life. It wasn't until I found out that she fought and won the fight against breast cancer twice that I was completely moved. It inspired me to become a fighter everyday of my life.
She's now 90 years old and just beat skin cancer. Yes, indeed, I did mention another cancer. Her smile seizes to amaze me as I don't think I can ever be that strong, yet i inspire to be.
Our lives are filled with such hardships and no way to work around it. I guess through out my short lived life I want to find away to work around it. I want to find a "cure" so to speak, for all the pain and suffering in our world. I've always been a dreamer and that's the one thing that's kept me on me feet all my life. I want to inspire and be apart of something bigger than myself.
My main project is the TFTC supporting the Susan G. Komen Foundation and I think you know why.
TWLOHA is also a foundation im very fond of, as I have had a few friends on the verge of commiting suicide along with many family members. Personal experiences always makes these charities mean so much. If there is one way we can reach out to those suffering with depression it would be this great foundation.
Since I'm a huge fan of OTH, I became a huge fan of the Global Green Gulf Relief project. It's so horrible what's going on down there and I just want to help in some small way or big way if possible. One of the most important things that we have in this world is our water supply and if we just keep tarnishing it we can ruin or futures. So please help the with the Gulf spill or join Global Green.
Another project is Unmasking Mental Illness. In my family I have many bipolar family members. One of my little cousins who I love with all my heart was recently diagnosed with the worst case that you can get. I want to help him work through this along with my countless other members of my family who suffer from being bipolar. You never know how serious mental illnesses can effect not just that person but their family until you have a family member dealing with it. Please help and join me in this cause as well.
Invisible Children is a project I just got on board with. Knowing how many children are sent in the front lines and how much theyve been to at such a young age is heart breaking. When I'm a little older I hope to go all over the world and help in just any way as possible to help stop this.
The Trevor Project is my last but certainly not least project. The amount of kids who commit suicide over being bullied over simple things such as sexualtiy is alarming and it gets me outraged. No one has any right to judge anyone over their sexual preference.
I hope to help all of these projects as best as I can and help change some lives so please join me in my fight!!!
