BENEFITING: Brooklyn Academy of Music
ORGANIZER: Brooklyn Academy of Music
EVENT: BAM 24-Hour Movie Marathon
EVENT DATE: Sep 05, 2014
We are Kseniya Yarosh and Eleanor Kagan, the two hosts of the femme-centric film podcast Bonnie & Maude and we are so thrilled to be a part of BAM's 24-Hour Movie Marathon!
BAM is an incredible arts organization and every dollar we raise will help give kids greater access to the amazing performances, movies, after-school programs, and workshops that BAM offers. Just $25 helps get one kid involved in Arts & Justice, a free after-school program in which high school students create original theater works about social justice issues.
We want to help as many kids as possible and we have the stamina, the passion, and the drive to do what we love: Watch movies for 24 hours! Please donate to our fundraiser. It's for an excellent cause and will make a huge difference in the lives of so many New York kids.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Eleanor & Kseniya
Bonnie & Maude is a monthly Brooklyn-based film podcast in which hosts Eleanor Kagan and Kseniya Yarosh take on films and television shows from a femme-centric perspective. Topics range from classics (Rosemary's Baby, Alien, When Harry Met Sally) to obscurities (The Woman Chaser, Don't Bother To Knock) to surprisingly entertaining B-movies (Hard Ticket To Hawaii). The key: keeping a sense of humor and an open mind while delving into memorable cinema both old & new.
