It is my privilege to be running the 2014 Boston Marathon with team Beth Israel Deaconess-Milton. The events of last year have left a mark on this city. So many impacted by these cruel and senseless acts. As a compassionate health care provider of Milton Hospital, my heart goes out to those affected and who's lives have been forever changed. As I prepare for my first marathon, running the Boston Marathon of 2014 means many things to me and the city of Boston. As a father, I strive to set an example to my children in setting a goal and working towards it. As a lifelong Bostonian, I take great pride in the city we live in and the strength and resiliency demonstrated in the response to the marathon bombings. It has been a long time personal aspiration of mine to have the opportunity of running the Boston Marathon. I run in memory of those affected and I proudly represent BID-Milton. Please support me in reaching my fund-raising goal of $7500. All proceeds will benefit BID-Milton Hospital.
