On April 17, 2017 I will once again run the Boston Marathon for Team BIDMC, on behalf of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham. This is my third time running in support of the hospital and I know this support allows BID–Needham to continue to grow and thrive in the ever-changing health care environment.
BID–Needham marathon funds from last year supported the new BreastCare Center, which opened in October of 2016 and offers the latest in breast care imaging, technology, and diagnosis to residents in Needham and the surrounding towns. Two years ago, I raised funds for the 30,000 square-foot Cancer Center and Surgical Pavilion, which now provides a larger, more efficient space for cancer care and accommodates the increase in demand for surgical care services. Both the Cancer Center and Surgical Pavilion as well as the BreastCare Center offer superior clinical care, and allow patients to avoid the stresses of commuting into the city from the suburbs to get their care.
The Farmhouse has partnered with BID–Needham since we opened and we are so supportive of their initiatives and in turn, they have been supportive of our business.
Please help support BID–Needham—and me!—by donating to this cause. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
