After my 3rd place finish in the Boston Marathon back in '77, I thought it best to hold back a little, not wanting to attract any ayin hora for my great accomplishments. Astounding, in fact, as I was only 1.
Now, after years of sedentary desk work, I have re-emerged, only due to the great work of the Jewish Caring Network. It'll be a daunting task, but now in my mid-thirties, this could be one of the great comeback stories of the century. Imagine, someone in their mid-thirties, running? It blows my mind too.
Please support the JCN in their unbelievable work. And please choose my fundraising page to do it. Cuz mine's the coolest. Plus, I need the extra motivation, and my husband will thank you for it too. :) Much thanks. -Tobey
