Please help me honor and give back to those who raise their hand to fight and die to protect our Freedom and way of life.
My donation website was designed to honor the memory of Jason R. Workman, U.S. Navy Seal who fought and died bravely on August 6, 2011 along with 30 other brave souls when his Chinook Helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan. About 2 years ago, my wife gave me a memorial bracelet which had Jason's name on it. Although I did not know Jason, I honor his memory everyday by wearing the bracelet.
I am also working with the Navy Seal Foundation, 31 Heroes Project and Travis Manion Project to raise money for the families of fallen Seals and Soldiers. I am not just raising money and moving on....I am training and have committed to tackling a Sprint Triathlon in May as well as a 7 day Civilian version of BUD/S June 6-13 called Extreme Seal Experience. When I graduate, I will raise a toast to Jason Workman.
My goal is to raise $6,811. Why the strange amount you might ask? Well on the 6th(the $6,000 part) of August (the $800 part) in 2011 (the $11 part) we lost a father, husband, son and brother who gave his life to protect my children and I will never forget it. Help me give back to this great cause and thanks to those who choose to help.....remember, "if not us, then who?"
With Great and Humble Appreciation,
