Since the passing of our Founder, My mom, Eva Norman, it has just been my step-dad, Walter, and I running Buckeye Farm. There are so many Animal rescues out there that are being funded by the local and federal government, but we are not one of them. We rely on our embroidered sales of train hats and shirts to help fund the animals. As my mom always said, no donation is too big or too small. If everyone in America donated just 1 penny, we would never have to worry again.
We are approaching the 2 year anniversary of my mom's passing and we still take in cats every month. We give them the best life on the Farm without being euthanized because there is no room in shelters. In fact, our local shelter seldom taken in cats and if they do, they don't leave with a family.
We are asking for any donation that you can give to help us continue my mom's work. We are asking $6000.00 for the following items:
$350.00/month feeds the cats and dogs
$100.00/every 3 months for batteries for the electric fence collars that the dogs wear
$350.00-400.00/for any new dog collar that we might need for the year
$100.00/month for food and lightning for our 6' iguana that was rescued
The remaining money would be used for any vet bills that might occur with all the animals, any new shelters needed, etc.
Please forward to all your friends and family. We are just 2 people with no volunteers and we need your help.
