Casa Myrna Vazquez, Inc. via Crowdrise
April 17, 2012
On April 16, 2012, four courageous people will run 26.2 miles to help Casa Myrna deliver solutions to end domestic and dating violence!
Founded in 1977 by community activists, these solutions include:
- Three residential programs in Boston for women and children made homeless by domestic violence
- A holistic range of bilingual English/Spanish supportive services including legal advocacy, support groups, individual counseling, housing search assistance, financial literacy education and children’s services
- SafeLink (877-785-2020), the only statewide, 24/7, multilingual domestic violence hotline in Massachusetts
- Education and outreach about domestic and dating violence. We are the only nonprofit in Massachusetts running statewide ad campaigns about the issues on mass transit systems
Thank you for supporting our work to create a Community of Conscience, where domestic violence is no longer tolerated or ignored!
