EVENT DATE: Apr 20, 2017
Join co-chairs Meg Reggie, Cynthia Good and Sean O'Keefe for EDIN’s 7th Annual Celebrity Dance Challenge. Set for Thursday, April 20 at Buckhead Theatre, the Celebrity Dance Challenge is EDIN’s largest event created to raise awareness about eating disorders and to promote body positivity and self-esteem. Proceeds from the event go directly into our community through programs and projects to prevent eating disorders through awareness, education, and outreach.
Fashioned after hit shows like So You Think You Can Dance™ and Dancing with the Stars™, the Celebrity Dance Challenge is a beloved event where local celebrities are paired with professional dancers to compete in all types of dance and raise funds for EDIN. The show is under the artistic direction of celebrity dancer & choreographer Bubba Carr.
Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception produced by Sean O’Keefe Events and be thoroughly entertained by emcees Christi Paul of CNN and Paul Milliken, Road Warrior of FOX 5’s Good Day Atlanta. And, of course, the dancers! “The EDIN Celebrity Dance Challenge is truly one of the most fun events in Atlanta,” says Christi Paul and longtime event participant, “Watching our favorite local celebs dancing their hearts out is both exhilarating and inspiring. This is a not-to-miss event.”
Dance couples compete by dancing for votes. The number of fan votes received will determine the winner. Every dollar counts as 1 vote and the most votes win! Voting is now open and anyone can vote for his or her favorite celebrity for as little as $1 per vote! Vote today to support your favorite dance pair!
