Thank you for visiting my page. As the Global Ambassador of Concern Worldwide, I am hoping you will join our campaign to keep kids learning in the Ebola zone.
As a mother of two, I know all parents want the best for their children, which includes an education. For three million children in Sierra Leone and Liberia, the Ebola outbreak has put their education, and their futures, on hold.
Together we can change that.
While schools are closed indefinitely, Concern is working with the governments of both countries to deliver lessons by radio, directly into children’s homes. It's also training community members to work with small groups of children on basic reading and math, and getting books, stationery, and other learning materials out to families.
Three million children sounds like a huge problem to tackle, but just $20 buys a solar-powered radio that can educate a whole household of kids, and $1.80 buys a stationery set so they can follow with their lessons at home.
Just click DONATE on this page and give what you can. Every donation will create a personalized brick in the Giving Tower that you can see in real time.
I hope you will donate what you can and help us spread the word. Together, I know we can make a difference for children whose lives have been rocked by the Ebola outbreak.
