The D.C. DUCK RACE is a fun, family-friendly event and festival hosted by the Rotary Club of Washington, D.C. that will bring the community together in support of local non-profits and organizations on May 6, 2017. In addition to prizes for the winning ducks, participants will enjoy music and other entertainment, food, activities and much more.
Members of the community will be able to purchase and “sponsor” ducks that will participate in a race on the historic Anacostia River in the exciting newly-developed Yards Park 355 Water Street SE, Washington, DC 20003, thanks in part to a partnership with the Capitol Riverfront Business Improvement District (BID). Funds will support community organizations. GRAND PRIZE 6 days/5 nights - Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic or Cancun in Mexico, 2 Adults and up to 2 children under the age of 12 or a Special Duck Worth $1,000,000!*
Our 2016, inaugural D.C. Duck Race provided more than $25,000 in funds to organizations that enhance the health, education, and welfare of children!
