DVC of Santa Clarita Valley

The Domestic Violence Center of Santa Clarita provides safety and support to victims of domestic violence while working to break the cycle of abuse. We offer shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy and promote healthy relationships. We endeavor to increase community awareness about domestic violence issues and bring about societal change through education and public policy advocacy.

According to statistics published by the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV). On September 15th, 2014, 5,784 Victims were helped in one day! One Day! 2,964 domestic violence victims (1,712 children and 1,252 adults) found refuge in emergency shelters or transitional housing provided by local domestic violence programs. 2,820 adults and children received non-residential assistance and services, including counseling, legal advocacy, and children’s support groups.

Domestic violence is a family matter. It affects individuals in every community, regardless of age, economic status, race, religion, nationality or educational background. It is a growing problem in the country creating a long lasting impact on victims and family.

DVC (Domestic Violence Center of the Santa Clarita Valley) promotes healthy relationships and family systems through intervention, prevention, and education. DVC provides service to victims of domestic violence including 24 Hour Crisis Hotline, emergency shelter, counseling services, court advocacy, legal referrals and community outreach.  

 

DVC is dedicated to Break the Cycle of Abuse
