When I retired I decided to relive earlier fondness for Triumph sport cars. I owned a TR3 back in the '60's and enjoyed driving it through the mountains of Colorado, until the State Patrol convinced me I should get rid of it.
After retiring I purchased a rust bucket TR3 and spent the next few years restoring it from the frame up. I then joined the Rocky Mountain Triumph Club and began driving with the club on weekends. My son Ryan, who was confined to a wheel chair due to an accident, would accompany me during some of the rides and enjoyed riding "shotgun" in the TR3. Ryan had never attended the Roundup River Ranch, but he certainly would have approved of the Ranch's goals for helping other children like himself. Ryan passed away recently, but he will be riding shotgun with me in spirit for this event.
