Women's Education Project centers in South India are lively, safe places for young women from the poorest families to find quiet study space, a library, computer labs, tutorials, workshops, career guidance, exciting fieldtrips, and, for those in, or ready for, college, scholarships and other financial support!
It costs $250 to send a student to WEP and college for one year. In 2014, we wish to invite fifty more students to join our four centers in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kadapa and Madurai.
It is Women’s Education Project's keystone belief that the decisions an educated woman makes as a self-reliant, informed, responsible citizen, effect lasting social change in her own life, her family, and society.
