BENEFITING: PAT TILLMAN FOUNDATION
EVENT DATE: Oct 08, 2017
Welcome to my fundraising page!
My name is Heather and I will be running the Chicago marathon in October to raise money for Pat Tillman Foundation which supports military veterans and spouses with academic scholarships. I am a surviving Navy spouse with two young children; Benny is 10 years old and Natalie is 5 years old. Benny was diagnosed with autism at age two. The Pat Tillman foundation is an amazing organization that is currently supporting me in my doctoral studies as I work to establish apropriate postsecondary education and vocational opportunities for all young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Help me support Pat Tillman Foundation by making a donation. The process is fast, easy, and secure. I truly appreciate any support you can provide. It will benefit a great cause!
If you can't make a donation at this point, help me reach my goal by sharing this page on Facebook and Twitter! Or, even better, send an e-mail to friends you think might be interested in contributing and include a link to my page!
Thanks so much for your generosity!
Today, Team Tillman is keeping Pat’s passion and intensity alive while inspiring others to live up to their potential. A community of everyday athletes, civilian and military, we participate as a team or individually in marathons, half-marathons, triathlons, cycling and other athletic events to honor Pat. To date, we have raised nearly $1 million to fund scholarships for Tillman Scholars, who share Pat’s commitment to service, learning and action.
