Captain Bryan K. Anderson, United States Army assigned to the Wilmington area
As a professional soldier, Captain Anderson has worked to enforce the Army Sexual Harassment/Assault Response Prevention (SHARP) program and has tirelessly sought new ways to make it more effective. He has devoted his off-duty time to supporting veterans who were sexually assaulted while in active duty, directing them to counseling at the Rape Crisis Center or the Veterans Administration to support their recovery. A tireless advocate for victims of sexual assault and harassment, he also sits on the panel for the Cape Fear Crisis Response Team and supports the RCC as a member of the Cape Fear Human Trafficking Rapid Response Team.
"Definitely Superman. Doing good for all people, and not being boastful about it, rather he does not allow people to even know who he really is…"
"I would choose from a list of outstanding Soldiers, Marines, and Sailors that I have known over these many years. I have men and women that I have served with that I would go through the gates of hell with at a moment's notice, and they would do the same for me."
