Houses of Hope is a Social Entrepreneurship Project created by Kapalu Connection to finance education in Vanuatu’s remote villages and to provide housing for missionaries desiring to serve in these areas.
To accomplish these goals:
- Houses of Hope will work with local community leaders to build houses in remote regions of Vanuatu that will be rented by the Port-Vila Mission for their missionaries.
- Houses of Hope, after receiving the rental income, will send a portion of rent monies to local schools to supplement the payment of a teacher, supplies, or physical facilities.
- Houses of Hope will make it possible for missionaries to proselyte and perform humanitarian work in remote areas.
Vanuatu is very rural with over 87 islands. There is an immediate need for eight houses in these remote areas.
We are asking for $4,500 to build the first house and get help to children in need of educational support.
We have a backer that will match every dollar given up to $8,000 unill march 14th
Every $4,500 raised thereafter, will build another house and fund another teacher. Please help us build HOUSES OF HOPE.
