I run for L.A.C Lupus, Austim and Charge Syndrome
I have never ran a marathon but there are many things I am sure you have never done, but I am doing it because I can.
I dont know what it is like to be the parent of a child with Lupus, or Austim or Charge Syndrome.( CHARGE stand for: Coloboma of the eye, Heart defects, Atresia of the choanae, Retardation of growth and/or development, Genital and/or urinary abnormalities, and Ear abnormalities and deafness), but I know what its like to run.
I run for my friend Dara who suffers with Lupus and every single day wakes up filled with energy to face the day.
I run for my friend Joy who is the mom of a loving little angel with Austism
I run for my buddy Andrew, bright eye young man who the doctors said would not make it pass 6mths, he recently celebrated his 11th birthday. His daily motto is CHARGE on!
I run for the other kids and families who deal with these on a dialy bases.
I run because I can.
I run and you donate.
I appreciate you dearly for this support.
