The Indian state Rajasthan, where Jaipur is located, is impacted by one of the lowest literacy rates in all of India. With no public school access, the only chance many children have for education and a better life is to attend a private school.
The Jaipur Education Project, founded in 2013 and incorporated as a 501(c)3 in 2015, works directly with two schools to educate children at the cost of $180 per student per year (less than a dollar a day).
With literacy comes higher wages, better family planning and parenting skills, and a significantly better quality of life.
ALL DONATIONS go directly to tuition, books, supplies and uniforms and are tax deductible.
