I'm really excited to be running my second Boston Marathon with Team Joslin!
I'm running the marathon in honor of my mother, Lynn Fisher, who passed away in 2011 from Type I Diabetes complications. My mother struggled with this disease for over 40 years before she passed away at the age of 61. I can't think of a better organization to support, one that has supported my mother, as well as my whole family for so long. I'm thrilled at the opportunity to be able to give back and show my support for those living with diabetes and those working to find a cure. I hope you will all help me support such a wonderful organization and join me as I make the journey from Hopkington to Boston.
Thanks for your support :)
