Kandu Books for Kids!

BENEFITING: CHILDREN'S HEMIPLEGIA AND STROKE ASSN.
Donations made on this page will be used to purchase and ship free Kandu items to the kids CHASA serves.
Our Latest Kandu Project
Our new Kandu project is a book about Kandu - "Kandu Fun and Games" and we want to give these books to children, teens and young adults served by CHASA. The story features our Kandu mascot, a penguin, who wears a foot brace just like many of our kids. We provide these to families at no cost because we're very aware of the costly medical expenses faced by many of our families. Your donation will help us design, purchase and ship Kandu books.
Our First Kandu project
CHASA shipped a free Kandu penguin mascot (a plush toy) to children, teens and young adults served by the Children's Hemiplegia and Stroke Association. These penguins help kids feel better! They may be going through medical procedures or maybe are feeling a little lonely. One little boy takes Kandu to school in his backpack every day and tells us he knows he has a friend with him all the time.
CHASA has already shipped 500 little penguins to kids and we have more children on our waiting list. Check out the pictures of kids loving on their Kandu.
Kandu is the mascot for the Children's Hemiplegia and Stroke Association. You'll find Kandu in person at our CHASA Family Retreat. Check out the photos on this page!
