THANK YOU FOR VISITING MY FUNDRAISING PAGE! I am a recent graduate and can now call myself a Massage Therapist! The fact that I was chosen out of >3000 applicants to be one of 30 volunteers to participate in this Global Outreach to the Philippines is beyond imaginable! Our trip is going to last about 20 days, during which time we will be traveling to different regions around the Philippines, including Davao City, Manila, and Cebu.
The purpose of this trip is to provide massage therapy, nurturing touch, and education/training to those in the greatest need: the children/infants and their caregivers. We will be volunteering in orphanages, hospitals, and clinics with the hope that our teaching can allow the caregivers (and children) to continue providing healing touch, nurturing care, and massage long after our group leaves the country. The children we will be working with often don't experience much human contact/touch besides diaper changes, etc. The benefits of touch therapy will be powerful in their development, as many of them suffer from impairments (physical and/or mental).
Any donation you can make to the Liddle Kidz Foundation for my trip would be greatly appreciated. Please share this with friends and family as well... have them watch the video below! It is a documentary from the Global Outreach trip to Vietnam from 2010; it's amazing!
Thank you so much for your support! Or as they would say in the Philippines, "Salamat!"

Children, families and healthcare staff will receive a sustainable program provided by the Liddle Kidz Foundation! Professionals volunteers will travel to the Philippines to provide hands-on pediatric massage & nurturing touch for infants and children, some of which have special healthcare needs. Teach caregivers and staff to continue providing such care after we return home. This work will involve using hands-on techniques, playing games and massage stories, as well as, sharing translated curriculum and materials provided by the renowned leader in pediatric healthcare education, the Liddle Kidz Foundation.
