THE STORY:

"Whom shall we send? Who will go for us?"

"Here I am. Send me."

I am running in my fourth Detroit Free Press International Half Marathon on Oct 15, to raise money for Love Runs.

Love Runs raises money to help fight human trafficking. The Detroit area is the second worst in the country for human trafficking.

Over the last two years, Love Runs has raised about $700K; around 80-90% of which is spent locally, here in the Detroit area. This year, we're trying to get to over $1M.

Each Loves Runner is trying to raise at least $1440. Why 1440?

1440 is the number of minutes in every day that a human trafficking victim is enslaved, and the same number of minutes we are free. What will you do with it? Join us in the fight to end human trafficking in Metro Detroit.

Please donate to this worthy cause.
