BENEFITING: American Institute for Cancer Research
EVENT DATE: Apr 23, 2017
I've been a runner for 10 years now.
What started as an outlet to replace years and years of competitive soccer has become a meditative exercise that has kept me balanced and sane. It has also helped forge incredible friendships, taken me to amazing places and benfitted worthy charities for which I've had the honor to run.
At last year's NYC Marathon, my former coworkers and I raised more than $32K for Fred's Team, the athletic fundraising arm of New York's prestigious Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Research Center. A few months later, we ran the Paris Marathon, supporting the American Institute for Cancer Research.
In April, my friend Mike and I will run the London Marathon. We are once again supporting Team AICR and their efforts to battle cancer through research. As I get older, I hear more and more instances of people who have loved ones affected by cancer. The fact of the matter is: Research saves lives, and research costs money. A lot of it!
My personal fundraising goal is $5,000. If you would like to support AICR and its efforts in battling cancer, please donate what you can by clicking the button provided. Every little bit helps.
Thank you so much,
