Whether it is time, money, or resources, Molex, Koch and its affiliates and their employees have a long tradition of giving back. Continuing that tradition, this year we are making it possible for our Bank of America Chicago Marathon runners* to raise funds by running on behalf of a charity.
Molex has agreed to pay the processing and credit card fees for the first $100,000 in donations made on this site to allow the charities to receive 100% of the funds donated. Once donations surpass $100,000, donors will have the option of paying these fees or having them deducted from their donation.
Molex also will match donations made on this site up to a maximum of $100,000, with a match limit of $10,000 per charity. Only donations made through the CrowdRise site are eligible.
To be eligible for this program, the charity must be a U.S. based 501(C)3 charity and listed on Guidestar.org and be hosted on this site.
Please note that while Molex and Koch runners are encouraged to run for the charity of their choice, INDIVIDUAL solicitation of contributions using Molex resources is not allowed.
All participating charities will be promoted at the same time, between now and the October 7 race day, in multiple ways – watch for details!
*Only current employees of Molex, LLC, and its affiliates, including without limitation Koch Industries, Inc., (collectively, "Molex") who are registered for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon may host a fundraiser on this site.
