The Story

EVENT DATE: Jun 24, 2018

Set in Michigan’s newest state park, beautiful Belle Isle in Detroit, this is a closed course. You can choose your level: the Olympic Triathlon (1500m swim, 23mi bike, 10k run), the Sprint (500m swim, 20k bike, 5k run), or the Super Sprint (200m swim, 10k bike, 1mi run)!

Join Team Joseph and use your muscles to raise research dollars for kids who can’t use theirs. You can run, bike, swim, or walk. Do it on your own, or form a team.

Team Joseph is a non-profit organization dedicated to funding cutting edge research to find a treatment or cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Duchenne is one of the most fatal and progressive types of Muscular Dystrophy so it's so important that we continue to fund research! Currently there is no treatment. As one way to raise money, some fantastic Team Joseph supporters have committed to running the Motor City Triathlon on June 24th! These amazing people are asking friends, family and anyone who can give, to help them as they train and fundraise for a cause near to their hearts!
