The Story

On April 30, 61 supporters of NEXT for AUTISM (formerly NY Collaborates for Autism) joined together at SoulCycle on East 63rd Street for the first ever NEXT for AUTISM Power Pedal fundraiser. We sweat and even cried together, cycling for those who need the cutting-edge programs that NEXT creates and that people with autism and their families can access now. Among our riders were parents, siblings, aunts, cousins, therapists, doctors, lawyers, friends, colleagues and friends of friends of people with autism. We even had one awesome young man with autism who cycled along with us. It was an amazingly inspiring event, led by SoulCycle founding instructor Laurie Cole, and together we have raised more than $300,000 so far for NEXT's innovative programs. What's more, we raised friends and awareness.

But our work is not done. There is STILL TIME to join us and raise even more so that NEXT for AUTISM can continue its crucial work. We are grateful for any donation and since the event was generously underwritten by friends of NEXT for AUTISM, nearly 100% of the funds raised from this event will go directly to creating programs and opportunities for individuals with autism and their families.

Remember: Someone you know loves someone with autism. Please donate for them.
