Friends of Gold Butte has BIG expectations for National Public Lands Day!
Working closely with the BLM restoration team we have 5 individual projects planned. One of the projects will be completed by Zach for his Eagle Scout project. We will restore damaged areas with over 100 native plants, recondition wildcat ATV trails, and pick compacted soils and hand seed. Hosts will lead volunteers on an interpretive hike of the historic and prehistoric Whitney Pockets area and Tread Lightly and Leave No Trace information will be available to visitors.
Our goal this year is 60 plus volunteers!
So, all those plants and volunteers we need a bit o cash. Can you help us create a successful National Public Lands Day? Gold Butte thanks you and all its Friends!
