Hi everyone! I am planning on joining the No Barriers climb on Mt. Elbert before I head to Peru for the Summer. The climb is on June 3. This climb raises funds for the Soldiers To The Summit Project that is partnered with my company Global Explorers. The climb is being led by the renown blind climber Erik Weihenmayer and the proceeds will go towards a film dedicated to telling the stories of our injured soldiers and the challenges they face. We will be joined by many famous climbers along with soldiers who have been wounded in war and are looking to show the world they can still overcome obstacles and demonstrate that there truly are "No Barriers." I am inspired by each and everyone of them and am really looking forward to climbing in support of such a noble cause. Any donation you are willing to give will be greatly appreciated! Thank you everyone! If you want to find more information please follow this link:
There was also a documentary done earlier this year called High Ground which includes many of the soldiers we work with. Here is the link for the trailer, it is really inspiring. Get out the tissues.
