EVENT DATE: Jul 18, 2017
Ready to squeeze in a workout for a good cause? On July 18th, NEXT for AUTISM’s NEXT Gen Board is hosting a Power Pedal event to raise funds for programs and opportunities that empower individuals with autism to live joyful and fulfilling lives. Join us at SoulCycle on E. 83rd Street at 8pm for 45 minutes of cycling and sweating, as we come together to support individuals with autism.
We're asking each rider to reach out to friends, family and colleagues to raise a minimum of $500, but we hope you'll set your goals even higher. We’ll have a post ride reception and you’ll walk away with some awesome swag and the incomparable feeling of being part of a community of doers!
NEXT for AUTISM, formerly New York Collaborates for Autism, has spent nearly 15 years building innovative programs including the NYC Autism Charter School, the first charter school for children with autism in NY; the Center for Autism and the Developing Brain, a diagnostic, clinical and research facility with NY-Presbyterian Hospital, and soon Neighborhood Network of New York, a community-living program for adults with autism, a fast-growing segment of the population.
Remember: Someone you know loves someone with autism. Power Pedal for them!
